The event includes sideshows, amusement rides, pig racing, food and market stalls and much more. Even though the carnival is a rugby competition, you don't have to like Rugby to enjoy the festival; plenty of people come for the carnival atmosphere.

7. Hillston Sunflower Festival
The Hillston Sunflower Festival starts in mid-April and runs for five days. The event celebrates the sunflower harvest and attracts thousands of visitors who come to observe the sunflower fields. The festival includes street markets, parades, food, and live entertainment. There are sunflower competitions, where prizes are given to the growers that have the largest or most beautiful sunflower.
